L'episodio speciale di Bardack è uno spinoff alternativo dello speciale "Le origini del mito", in cui Bardak dopo la distruzione del Pianeta Vegeta si ritrova catapultato nel passato quando ancora la sua stella si chiamava Plant ed era abitata da un'altra razza pacifica. Plant ben presto viene attaccato dagli uomini del tiranno Chilled, presumibilmente un antenato di Freezer, così Bardak si trova ad affrontare la stessa situazione accaduta sul suo pianeta originario.
